Inventory Control Clerk

Karat® by Lollicupheadquartered in Chino, CA, is the manufacturer of Karat® & Karat Earth® food disposable packaging and TeaZone® beverage products, the master distributor of other leading brands’ coffee & tea ingredients (such as Da Vinci, Big Train, Monin etc), and we also specializes in custom print and innovative packaging. We have been recognized for our thermoforming plastic capabilities in North America to produce cups and food packaging products that allow us to offer competitive pricing throughout our distribution network (currently 5 regional warehouses are located in CA, TX, SC,WA and NJ), and services to chain accounts such as Panda Express, Chili’s, TGI Friday, Flame Broiler, Torchy’s Taco, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and more.

Karat® by Lollicup is currently seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to join our new and growing team. We are looking for someone who is energized and inspired by the possibility of being part of this exciting opportunity to contribute to a startup location in its beginning stages!

Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for the maintaining accurate records of inventory. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Maintains and updates inventory records

· Creates efficient and accurate inventory management procedures

· Performs all daily activities necessary to maintain effective inventory management procedures

· Coordinates the annual physical inventory procedures

· Recommends programs to improve the management of inventory

· Plans and implements a recoup program to ensure all damaged/defective product is accounted for and properly handled by either dumping, salvaging or returning to stock

· Supervises the inventory quality and accuracy assurance programs, including weekly and monthly reporting

· Ensures corrective measures to prevent discrepancies

· Develops a program to audit returns and move returned product to its proper location

· Processes documentation to generate a prompt credit transaction

· Performs weekly cycle counts and adjusts systems as necessary

· Develops a program to maintain tight security over the inventory

· Maintains accurate inventory records to help facilities shortage detection

· Maintains confidentiality of inventory records to authorized personnel

· Complete and issue all necessary records and reports including filing invoices and maintaining customer records in a timely and accurate fashion

· Coordinates with Customer Service Representatives, Supervisors, and Warehouse

· Performs duties as instructed by management



· High School diploma or GED required

· Performs duties as instructed by management

· At least 2 years’ experience in similar position

· Computer applications experience using MS Office

· Excellent oral and written communications skills

· Excellent analytical and mathematical skills

· Excellent customer service skills



· Must be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations.

· Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time

· Must have no issues with heights.

· Lift and move totes up to 50 pounds.

· Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head.

· Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including weekend’s holidays as needed by the customer.



· This is a full time position in Chino, CA

· $16.00-$17.00 p/h DOE + health/dental (after passing probation period) and 401(k) + company match after one year of employment. Other miscellaneous perks may include: up to 30% off at Lollicup® Coffee & Tea corporate-owned stores, Company Dinners, and annual Company Trip.


· Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 2pm-11pm
